Description

The purpose of this research is to accurately model the gene, TREM2, as well as identify specific variants related to Alzheimer's Disease (AD). After searching several articles. There is one study "Variant of TREM2 Associated with Alzheimer's disease" that does identify one specific variant related to AD. YASARA is used to make all models. The PDB from UniProt, I-TASSER, and Fast and Slow Homology models were all analyzed to find a most accurate. It is predicted that the Slow Homology model is in fact the best.
