Sometimes the hardest part of building support for a project is knowing where to begin. This poster starts with the user in mind and will help anyone who is building or expanding a repository by showing them four ways to educate, excite, and inform their faculty and administration. Teaching potential repository users the importance of repositories for dissemination of research and scholarship, and correcting potential misconceptions about repositories will ultimately encourage broader adoption. Showing them how easy it is to work with liaisons and how seamless ingestion of research can be, not to mention how they can assess the impact of their work using biblio- and alt-metrics, will further encourage faculty and will help your repository grow.
